About Shawyers Tree Specialists

Established in 1972 by Ray Shawyer, Shawyers Tree Specialists rapidly became known as one of the most professional tree surgery companies in Hampshire.

The business steadily grew through the 70's and 80's aided of course, by the widespread storms of 1987.  Ray's son Martin joined the company in 1991, and together they built the company in both size and standing.

The retirement of Ray in 2000 saw Martin take over complete ownership and control of the company.The company is now one of the largest individually owned arboricultural companies in the South of England, and employs a crew of 14 arborists, 4 office staff and the day-to-day management is in the capable hands of our management team, Russ Perry and Karen Sage. They continue strive to ensure that both customer satisfaction and quality of service are unsurpassed.
